- When someone challenges what you believe and why, are you able to answer? Let's face it, none of us know everything. Being a student of the Bible, God's Word, is the only way to equip ourselves like the Christians did in Berea, a city in the Bible. Where was Berea? It was located in Macedonia, southeastern Europe, and is actually a small city on the eastern side of the Vermio Mountains, north of Mount Olympus. It's where the apostles, Paul, Silas, and Timothy took the Gospel. Are we like the Bereans, searching the Scriptures daily to find answers?

PREACH THE GOOD NEWS to Everyone
Narrow Way Ministries was founded in 1979 by Kathie Adler. The purpose of the ministry was to equip Christians to reach out to those deceived by cult groups and present salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ. But, of course, we should reach out to everyone with the truth of the gospel, so the teachings on this website encompass basic Christian beliefs which can be shared with anyone.
Even if you have never ministered to someone in a cult, God can equip you with His living word so you can share Jesus with them. The gospel is the good news of salvation because of the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. The story is never old to us who know Him, but it is new to those who've never heard the message, Jesus Christ came to save sinners. What is the biggest sin? To think we don't need Him! Jesus, the sinless, holy Lamb of God, went willingly to the cross and offered Himself up for our sins. The only sacrifice that is acceptable to God is the one that Jesus made. We could not die for our own sins as we are not sinless nor part of the deity. God Almighty demanded a sinless sacrifice for sin, so He Himself became the sacrifice. Our Father in heaven sent Jesus to become a man, be born of a woman, and die for our sins. Though He was innocent and had done no wrong, Jesus suffered rejection, mockery, shame, a severe scourging by two Roman soldiers, a painful crown of thorns, and finally, the unimaginable pain of crucifixion ( https://redeeminggod.com/crucifixion-physical-suffering-jesus/#google_vignette ).
Jesus was even forsaken by His father. Darkness covered the land of Israel for three hours, an occurrence which was recorded by three of the Gospel writers. "Now from the 6th hour there occurred darkness over all the land until the 9th hour" (Matthew 27:45). Learn about the death of Jesus, and why it was dark for three hours when Jesus died. His sacrifice was over! Even the Roman soldiers who crucified Jesus acknowledged that Jesus was the Son of God (Matthew 27:54)!
Jesus took upon Himself the sins of the world, your sins and mine. You might be the nicest person in the world, but the Bible teaches you need Jesus. Without Him we are lost, empty, and without direction. What is life all about? Why are we here? The reason we exist is to love and serve God while we are here, reach out and serve others and then live with Him eternally! We were born, but we were never meant to stay!
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth on Him might not perish but have everlasting Life" (John 3:15).
