Welcome to our website dedicated to sharing salvation in Jesus Christ with others, especially those who have been deceived by various cult groups. Many people today are searching for the truth, and the cults can be very attractive to those who are ignorant of the Bible.
There are books that are available outlining Christian beliefs as well as books available so you can reach out to cult members while solidifying what you believe. There are fiction books, biographies and devotionals -- all which will aid you in your Christian walk as you come closer to the Lord.
REACHING MORMONS - MORMONISM RESEARCH MINISTRY
Bill McKeever founded Mormonism Research Ministry in 1979 with the hope of informing the Body of Christ about the differences between Mormonism and Christianity. He has also made an effort to reach out the many individuals who are members of the LDS Church, desiring to show them in gentleness and respect the truth about God’s Word. His writings include In Their own Words: A Collection of Mormon Quotations (Morris Publishing, 2010), Answering Mormons’ Questions: Ready Responses for Inquiring Latter-day Saints (co-authored with Eric Johnson, Kregel, 2013), and Mormonism 101: Examining the Religion of the Latter-day Saints (Baker, 2015).
Eric Johnson has been a student of Mormonism since 1987 when he served with Youth with a Mission at a summer Utah outreach. Eric graduated from San Diego State University (1985, BA in Journalism) as well as at Bethel Seminary San Diego (1991, Master’s of Divinity). Eric cohosts the daily radio program Viewpoint on Mormonism and writes for MRM’s Mormonism Researched newsletter. He is the co-author of Answering Mormons’ Questions: Ready Responses for Inquiring Latter-day Saints (Kregel, 2013) and Mormonism 101: Examining the Religion of the Latter-day Saints (Baker Book, 2015). He edited Sharing the Good News with Mormons (Harvest House, 2018) with Sean McDowell. In addition, Eric wrote Introducing Christianity to Mormons (IntroducingChristianity.com) with Harvest House in 2022, a book meant to help Christians explain the essential issues of Christianity to former and current Latter-day Saints. Dr. Douglas Groothuis has fire in his bones for the Christian message and many irons in the fire to explain, defend, and apply it. He has been explaining the world to the church and explaining the church to the world for nearly fifty years through his teaching, preaching, writing, mentoring, and general witness. His passion is to take to the streets the truth and significance of the Christian worldview for all of life. To that end, he publishes both academic and popular works, preaches in churches, gives public lectures, engages in debates, and has appeared on hundreds of radio programs and podcasts since 1983. He is known as a knowledgeable, sharp, forceful, but gentle communicator of the Christian message.
AUTHOR & APOLOGIST
Dr. Groothuis holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy (University of Oregon, 1993) and in the fall of 2024, he will become Distinguished University Research Professor of Apologetics and Christian Worldview at Cornerstone University. He is the author of twenty books, beginning with the best-selling Unmasking the New Age (InterVarsity Press, 1986) and including the popular and voluminous textbook, Christian Apologetics, 2nd ed. (IVP Academic, 2022), as well as a memoir, Walking Through Twilight: A Wife’s Illness—a Philosopher’s Lament (InterVarsity Press, 2017), an introduction to philosophy, Philosophy in Seven Sentences (InterVarsity, 2016), and a book on the controversial topic of Critical Race Theory, Fire in the Streets (Salem Books, 2022). He co-authored the introductory textbook on apologetics, The Knowledge of God in the World and in the Word (Zondervan-Academic, 2022) with Andrew Shepardson.
He has also published over thirty academic articles in journals such as Academic Questions and Philosophia Christi as well as dozens of pieces in publications such as The Chronicle of Higher Education and The Christian Research Journal. His encouragement to pastors appears regularly at "The Focused Pastor" on the Focus on the Family online portal and he writes about jazz at the All About Jazz website.

THE KINGDOM OF THE CULTS
- This book was first published in 1965, is a reference book of the Christian countercult movement in the United States, written by Baptist minister and counter-cultist Walter Ralston Martin.[1] As of 2019, the book is in its sixth updated edition (hardback ISBN 9780764232657).
- Martin examines a large number of new religious movements; included are major groups such as Christian Science, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Jehovah's Witnesses, Armstrongism, Theosophy, the Baháʼí Faith, Unitarian Universalism, and Scientology, as well as minor groups such as Swedenborgianism and Rosicrucianism, plus various New Age and groups based on Eastern religions. The beliefs of other world religions such as Islam and Buddhism are also discussed.
- Martin covers each group's history and teachings, contrasting them with those of mainstream Protestant Christianity.[1][2] In an appendix titled "The Puzzle of Seventh-day Adventism," Martin partially rehabilitated the reputation of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the midst of the ongoing Evangelical-Adventist controversy.
- I met Dr. Martin in Huntington in 1989, and what a blessing to meet the man who was partly responsible for me joining the cult ministry in 1979. He was the impetus for many of us to become cult researchers!
