Kathie Adler has been teaching about the dangers of joining a cult for over forty years. She gave her life to Christ at an Oral Roberts Abundant Life Crusade at the Island Garden Arena (West Hempstead, NY). The crusade ran from December 8-11, 1966, and Kathie came to a personal knowledge of Christ on Sunday, December 11th.
Kathie's mother, Mary, came to faith in Jesus Christ through her mother who was a vibrant Christian woman and who witnessed to Mary about the Lord. After the birth of a child with Cerebral Palsy, a little boy who could not talk, walk, or feed himself due to a medical injury at birth, Mary decided to attend a crusade for healing in hopes her . She brought Kathie with her to the crusade in hopes that Oral Roberts would pray for her son, Anthony, so he could be healed. Anthony, called little Tony by his family, was born with Cerebral Palsy (CP) due to a doctor's mistake at birth and terrible hospital procedures in the 1950's. Tony wasn't healed that day at the crusade, but Kathie Adler (maiden name Klimowicz) went forward at the invitation Oral Roberts gave attendees to receive Jesus Christ as their Savior. Kathie's life was forever changed that day.
- When someone challenges what you believe and why, can you answer them? Let's face it, none of us know everything. Being a student of the Bible is the only way to equip ourselves like the Christians did in Berea. Berea is a city mentioned in the New Testament in the book of Acts. It was a small city located in Southern Europe, Greece to be exact, and was located on the eastern side of the Vermio Mountains in Greece. It's where Paul, Silas, and Timothy, apostles in the New Testament, preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Bereans were known for their Christian character and their earnest desire to examine the Scriptures to confirm if what the apostles were teaching was true. Are we like the Bereans, searching the Scriptures daily to find answers to what is true and what is not?

Narrow Way Ministries provided literature to Christians for teaching and training on how to share the real Jesus with those in the cults who have been misled. Although this website is called Narrow Way Ministries.com, Narrow Way Ministries, Inc., no longer exists. Kathie Adler is the sole author of all the fliers and booklets on the cults.
Many people feel it is wrong to label the groups on this website as "cults." But here is what differentiates the Christian Church from the cults:
1. Who is their Jesus? Is He just a man or a god or just an angel?
2. What do they believe about the virgin birth and the resurrection of Jesus?
2. How are we to be saved? Are there many roads to God?
Kathie's 120-page book on the New Age Movement is filled with information on the false teachings of the New Age as well as Bible refutations. It's an interesting book that details how the New Age created a false Jesus who is NOT the Jesus of the Bible. Contact Kathie for more information on how to obtain this book.

Narrow Way Ministries was founded in 1979 by Kathie Adler, her Christian grandmother Josephine, Kathie's mother, Mary, and Kathie's Christian friend, Donna. The attorney was referred to Kathie by Sister Celeste Horvath, evangelist and pastor. The attorney did not charge any fee to incorporate Kathie's ministry, Narrow Way Ministries. "I believe in what you are doing", he said. The purpose of this ministry was to equip Christians to reach out to those deceived by cult groups and present the message of salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ. Of course, we should reach out to everyone with the truth of the gospel. The teachings on this website encompass basic Christian beliefs which can be shared with anyone.
Even if you have never ministered to someone in a cult, God can equip you with His living word so you can share Jesus with them. The gospel is the good news of salvation because of the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. The story of Jesus is never old to us who know Him, but it is new to those who've never heard the message that Jesus Christ came to save sinners. What is the biggest sin? To think we don't need Him! Jesus, the sinless, holy Lamb of God, went willingly to the cross and offered Himself up for our sins. The only sacrifice that is acceptable to God is the one that Jesus made. We could not die for our own sins as we are not sinless nor part of the deity. But Jesus is.
God Almighty demanded a sinless sacrifice for sin, so He Himself became the sacrifice. Our Father in heaven sent Jesus to become a man, be born of a woman, and die for our sins. Though He was innocent and had done no wrong, Jesus suffered rejection, mockery, shame, a severe scourging by two Roman soldiers, a painful crown of thorns, and finally, the unimaginable pain of crucifixion ( https://redeeminggod.com/crucifixion-physical-suffering-jesus/#google_vignette ).
Jesus was even forsaken by His father. Darkness covered the land of Israel for three hours, an occurrence which was recorded by three of the Gospel writers. "Now from the 6th hour there occurred darkness over all the land until the 9th hour" (Matthew 27:45). Learn about the death of Jesus, and why it was dark for three hours when Jesus died. His sacrifice was over! Even the Roman soldiers who crucified Jesus acknowledged that Jesus was the Son of God (Matthew 27:54)!
Jesus took upon Himself the sins of the world, your sins and mine. You might be the nicest person in the world, but the Bible teaches you need Jesus. Without Him we are lost, empty, and without direction in our lives. What is life all about? Why are we here? The reason we exist is to love and serve God while we are here, reach out and serve others and then live with Him eternally! We were born, but we were never meant to stay!
